Emergency Relief in Nevada County
The Nevada County Relief Fund directs vital resources to our most vulnerable neighbors impacted by disasters.
The Nevada County Relief Fund was established in April 2020 to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. In response, the Relief Fund raised nearly $1.3 Million to help dozens of small businesses and nonprofits countywide, with nearly half the money raised from individual donations.
When the Jones Fire hit in August 2020, followed by the River Fire in August 2021, we launched the “Wildfire Recovery and Relief Fund” to get over $400,000 in cash donations quickly to our neighbors impacted by those wildfires.
Today, we have a single “Emergency Relief Fund” to provide relief to Nevada County residents following the official declaration of a local emergency.
The Nevada County Relief Fund is a trusted organization run by community leaders with the fiscal sponsorship of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation.
We applaud the generosity of our community as it comes together to meet our collective challenges and crises. Thank you!
The Nevada County Relief Fund is a trusted place to donate, to say,
“We see you, we got your back.”
Thank you Generous Supporters!
